Understanding Shipping Times

The shipping times are the shipping times.  There are no "Do Me a Favor."   If you ask to go to the front of the line, you will go to the end of the line.   Would you walk to the front of a line at a hotel check in?   No you wouldn't so don't do it here and don't ask.   Its rude.   

1. The  Basics:   4-5 Business days.   It needs to be kept simple.  It needs to meet expectations.   Customers expecting every type of order to ship in the same time frame is detrimental to them and the entire customer base.  Its not logical.

2. If you don't care about shipping times, then just order without concern.

3. If you are one of those one time, annoying customers that wants to tell a 25 year business how to operate, because you have arrived today to spend $20, we understand, and we are here for you.  You are special.   We have been waiting for you.   Our entire customer base has been waiting for you and today is the day.   Choose items that *Begin with an Asterisk.   That's it.  Do that and your order has the best chance to ship quickly.   We realize that we will never see you again after this one order.   We are going to have a going away party for you in one week.   Betty from accounting is going to make her famous Coconut Cake.   Thank you for ordering from us.

4. The more complicated your order the more time it takes.   This is how the entire Universe works.

Fast:  Choose items with an *Asterik

Fast: Keep the order to 10 DVDs

Fast: Choose Collectible Items

Less Fast: Choose Reprints

Slow: Choose Factory Sealed DVDs that do not have an *Asterik

Slow: Choose Reprints, Collectible DVDs, Factory Sealed that does not have an *Asterik.  The more you mix the more time it takes.
