Certified DVDs
We have begun adding tamper proof stickers to all our DVDs and covers on older DVDs. All DVDs we get from the Studios, the "New/Current" DVDs we still be factory wrapped. We are in the process of certifying 1000s of DVDs. Before we get them on the site we decided to practice certifying a few 1000 DVDs and give them all away. Whatever you spend you will get an equal amount of certified DVDs for free. You spend $500, you will get $500 worth of Certified DVDs free. Its a true dollar for dollar match.
We can no longer sell DVDs when we don't know what is inside the wrap. We don't know the condition of the DVD, if its the right DVD or if its a DVD.
We have a certification for PRISTINE. Its what we have all been calling Factory Sealed, except only about 10% of factory sealed DVDs are getting graded with Pristine.
Pristine has a unique process that does not apply the stickers to the DVD or the Cover.
- The Cover Gets the Large DVD Case. The DVD is Removed and it get put in a clear thin case. Those Cases are put in clear DVD bags and the bags (not the DVD and cover) are sealed with tamper proof stickers. Pristine Graded DVDs Stay Pristine. The reason we don't stick the actual items is because nobody is going to buy Pristine DVDs and then factory seal them. We sticker the less grade DVDs because dealers are buying 1000s of DVDs from us and resealing them. We have caught 2 large sellers doing it and there are many more.
What does our process do:
- You will never open a case and get the wrong DVD.
- You will never have a DVD come loose in transit.
- You will never open a factory sealed DVD and find out its been resealed.
Pristine Front

Pristine Back

Both Cases come in a Clear Bag to Protect Them and Keep Them Together
This bag is not sealed, so you can pull each item out you can inspect the front and back of the cover and the front and back of the DVD, because its in a clear case.

Our Tamper Proof Sticker

On DVDs that don't make the cut for Pristine. We apply our sticker to the cover and the case. We grade them 1-4. 4 allowing for some slight touches, evidence of use, but light. 3 shows more wear. 2 more and 1 is bad. The cover gets an undamaged case, the DVD is put in a sleeve. They are both put in a clear bag. The bag is not sealed, its to keep them together and protect the case from getting all scratched up.
