This DVD is sealed, but we no longer guarantee factory sealed status on older DVDs.
Older DVDs are sometimes being resealed, so we cannot guarantee the original seal.
We believe the majority of our older inventory came directly from the factory, but we cannot guarantee it.
We cannot guarantee playability.
We also cannot guarantee that this item is not a DVR, since some companies used DVRs to satisfy small orders.
Again, we believe this applies to only a very small percentage of items, but some companies used them exclusively.
We cannot guarantee against "Shakers".
Shakers are DVDs that come loose inside the case during transit.
Discontinued DVDs may have writing or stickers on the plastic wrap.
The wrap could be torn or loose.
The case could also have a crack or other damage.
Unopened DVDs are a gamble.
These items are being sold at a tremendous discount and are sold as is.
The overwhelming majority of items in the Discontinued Clearance section have no flaws in the wrap, cover, case, or DVD.
We are stating these conditions in advance so customers can make the best decisions for their collections.
Why These Policies Exist
These guarantees have changed because we have a wave of 1st time customers testing our return policies.
Over 25% of first time customers claim something is wrong with their order that requires a full refund.
They claim a disc is loose, DVr, case is cracked etc. They test to see what they can get away with and then place a larger order to make a larger claim.
The defect claim on regular customers is less than 1 in 10,000 DVDs, while first time customers is about 1 in 10.
These policies are to protect our regular customers from the massive cost of the fraudulent claims of new customers.
To Our Regular Customers
To our regular customers. Nothing has changed. We have to put everything in writing now because our site has come under constant attack from new people coming into the hobby with purely financial motives.
These aren't avid fans and collectors. They are purely resellers that are looking to take advantage of any loophole in any policy.
We have also experienced a wave of resellers placing large orders on credit cards and disputing the charge.
Then we find the exact DVDs for sale on other sites.
It was gotten so bad that we cancel many first time orders or limit what they can purchase.
