If you want to minimize the possibility for an item out of stock.  Click on the product on the website to the product page.  It will say how many are in stock...

If its a "Active DVD, Still in Production from the Studio" then try to avoid items with only 1 in stock.    Its not that things with 1 will be out of stock, but if it has 10, you can be certain its in stock.
