We are making a committment to integrity and transparency and we are also putting other sellers on notice. If you are committing fraud in this industry we will make you famous. We will make videos about you and put you in our newsletter that goes to 46,000 customers. As we are buying collections we have many customers that are expecting to make a profit from their DVDs and we have to tell them that they have no value because they are fake. We want to educate customers so one day you can sell all your DVDs to us and you can get paid for your entire collection. Someone might say "why should I trust you?" My answer is that you shouldn't. You should learn what you are buying and educate yourself. One thing that makes us different is that we are willing to seal our DVDs in a package with our name on it. The guys that are selling reprints as originals for $100 aren't going to put their name on it.
1. Folded edges. When you look at the edge of the DVD it looks like a Christmas Present. This wrap is only as good as the dealer you are buying from. Most dealers have a factory wrap machine. We have one. I can unwrap and wrap and DVD. So what is your factory wrap worth. Nothing. Dealers are using this to take advantage of you. The best money making scam right now is buying used DVDs and factory wrapping them and selling them to people that want to believe.
2. Shrink Wrapped. This is plastic wrap that is heat sealed at each end and then a heat gun is used and the plastic shrinks to form fit the item snuggly. There are several companies that use this wrap like Vouyer Media, Sweet Sinner, Sweathearts, some older Legend. This wrap is worthless. There are many sellers that buy used DVDs and then reseal them with shrink wrap. These fraudsters don't even respect you enough to put an effort into scamming you. Because as soon as I see shrink wrap I know the dealer is a fraud.
3. Certified Sealed - Certified sealed means that we remove the factory wrap on the DVD. We inspect the DVD face, Cover and Case. We determine if its authentic. We check the back of the DVD for any signs that its been removed from the case, played touched. Any mark, partial print, any imperfection and it will not pass inspection and it will fall to "Unsealed" and it will get a grade of 1/5 to 4/5. 1/5 being the worst condition (heavy use) to 4/5 best unsealed condition (very little evidence of handling).
The DVD and case and then put through a factory wrap, folded corners machine and re-wrapped.
Then that sealed DVD is put in a clear DVD bag and its sealed with a Tamper Proof Seal. Stating that we certify that this DVD is Factory Sealed. Some people will say "Its no longer factory sealed if you open it." Most dealers have a factory wrap machine so anyone can open a DVD and reseal it. Many of the DVDs in your collections have been resealed and you have a DVD that won't pass our inspection.
So what is worth more, a resealed, used DVD from a guy that is being dishonest or our DVD that guarantees what you are getting? Customers need to make choices and what is important to them. We have to make a chance because of the massive amount of fraudulently "factory sealed" used DVDs on the market. I'm not buying DVDs from other sellers and saying they are factory sealed without checking them first.
If you don't want our bag and seal, then open it. You will just have a regular factory sealed DVD.
I am certain that in a very short time people will be paying more for our certified DVDs, than "Factory Sealed" DVDs from other sellers.
Because what we are seeing out there is a massive fraud of sellers misrepresenting their products.
4. Certified Unsealed - These DVDs that show some wear. They are not in factory sealed condition. They are 100% authentic. We assign a grade of 1/5 to 4/5 so customers know what to expect with condition. We also list any extras that are in the case like a catalog or bonus DVD. We found a DVD that had an extra rare DVD under the 1st DVD. These DVDs are bagged and sealed and certified.
A vault gets you a secured space in our warehouse to hold your DVDs without any shipping charges when you place your order. Vault Customers don't pay shipping at checkout. They pay shipping when they are done shopping and they are ready to ship. We are going to be posting collections that we are buying and some of them are small. Shipping prohibits customers from buying the deals you want. If you see a few DVDs you want you can put them in your vault and when you are ready we can ship them all to you. We are only selling 40 of these. Try it for 30 days. If you don't like it, you get a full refund. More
